A Family Legacy of Deck Building for over 55 years
Our History
In 1970 Rick Anderson built the foundation of a family legacy in deck construction, forming Best Decks of Utah.
With the help of 4 sons and a daughter, throughout the 1980’s and 90’s, Rick became one of the premier deck contractors in the state.
Best Decks of Utah specialized in the redwood decks and was one of the pioneer contractors for composite decks in the late 1990’s.
Since that time, Rick and his sons have worked with every type of decking and railing material and have amassed a wealth of knowledge and expertise that go into the construction of decks, patio covers, awnings, screen rooms, pergolas, roofing, and railings.
Two of the sons – Kristopher & Kevan have gone on to become accomplished general contractors and joined forces to advance the next generation of the family legacy.
Their seasoned perspective has led to one simple mission – building beautiful composite decks that will last 30 years with the least amount of maintenance and no problems.
